Privacy

Genomic data is permanent. It is treated that way.

This page states the principles Aevum is building to. A full privacy notice will replace it following legal review.

01

What we intend to collect

Contact details you provide, health and family history you choose to share, laboratory results from the measurements included in your product level, and genomic data either sequenced by us or imported by you.

02

Why we process it

To produce, review and update your report, and to operate the service around it. Any processing beyond that purpose requires a separate, specific and revocable consent.

03

Research and secondary use

We do not treat participation in the service as consent to research use, data sharing or commercialisation. Any such use would be presented separately, described plainly, and would be optional.

04

Storage and access

Genomic and clinical data are stored with encryption at rest and in transit, with access limited to the personnel and processes needed to produce and review your report.

05

Your controls

You can request a copy of your data in a portable format, correct information you have provided, withdraw a consent, or request deletion of your data and the report versions derived from it.

06

Third parties

Laboratories and infrastructure providers process data on our instruction under written terms. We do not sell personal data.

07

Retention

Because reinterpretation is central to the product, data is retained for as long as your relationship with Aevum continues, and deleted on request thereafter.

Placeholder for subsequent legal review. Not yet a binding privacy notice.
